USA 4. THE BIBLE AND THE DIVINE NAME.

Since our last visit to Broolkyn Bethel in 2012 when we blogged about the amazing Archives exhibit at 25 Columbia Heights, in the main lobby of Brooklyn Bethel (http://lloydandalex.blogspot.com/2012/12/3-archive.html), they have installed another new exhibit that is equally fascinating and educational.

At the 2013 Annual Meeting Brother Sanderson invited everyone to come and see the Bible display, saying: "We truly pray that . . . it will help honesthearted people of all ages, of all educational backgrounds, to come to love the same two things that all of us love—God’s precious Word, the Bible, and his glorious name, Jehovah." (http://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/activities/events/annual-meeting-report-2013/)

For anyone who loves Jehovah, it is worth taking the time to read the whole thing. And for anyone who thinks that the Divine name should not appear in the Bible, please consider the evidence.

If you are not able to personally go to the display, please come with us now. The following is most but not all of the items on display. We will be quiet so that you can concentrate on the exhibit...

The wallpaper... Jehovah's name in hundreds of languages.

Thank you for joining us.

  2. Thank you so much for this post!! When this display was mentioned at the AGM I told Jacob how much I would love to see it, though I didn't think I actually would! Thank you thank you thank you!!
What a beautiful display, and beautiful evidence that Jehovah is protecting the truthfulness of his Word. For it to have gone through so many translations, with people changing it where it shouldn't be changed only to come to the honest translation we have in our hot little hands today! Jehovah truly deserves all our praise for such a wonderful gift!
