USA 19. POST GRADUATION ASSOCIATION

Sunday, September 14, 2014

Meet our generous hosts Debbie and John. Due to the many theocratic projects and the Gilead school many of the Gilead guests including us were billeted out to stay with friends at various local congregations around Patterson Bethel.

We had the privilege of staying at the beautiful home of John and Debbie half an hour away from Bethel in the leafy town of Danbury, Connecticut.

They shared everything with us. They even moved to the spare room so that we could have their bedroom.

Imagine our surprise to hear some Australian accents in John and Debbie's home on our first morning... This is Gracy, a Sulphur Crested Australian Cocatoo who knows how to rule the roost.
The sun room rocking chair.

Flowers on the deck.

Danbury Kingdom Hall
This young sister has learned to sing Caleb's songs in various languages including japanese...
A family from Brazil who also came for the graduation.
Koichi and Mariko
John and Debbie invited the whole gang to a BBQ at their home after the meeting.

Feels like paradise already...

Setsuko, Aki's mother.

The end of another perfect day. Sadly though it was time to bid farewell to Hajime and Aki. When and where will we meet again, we do not know but we are sure we will.
