2. THE BROOKLYN HIGH LIFE

The truth is, our life in Brooklyn Heights has been, lets see, intense, exciting, exhausting, hectic, and a whole lot more, but never underwhelming. We have met up with a lot of old friends and made a lot of new ones.

Our home these past two weeks at Brooklyn Bethel, 90 sands street
Our room, 1811
Our view
And this is our breakfast table at 90 Sands. They all made us feel so at home. Great way to start the day before donning the hat, scarf and gloves to walk across to the office...
The office buildings where I have been, the first week with BPG (Branch Planning Group) in the 50 building, the little brick building in the centre there. And the second week with DBD (Design Build) in the 30 building behind.
Manhatten skyline view just across the water from the offices
The 50 building discussion room.
Whilst I have been sweating it out in the classroom, Alexandra has been working in the laundry with 100 new friends. Next week the Brooklyn laundry takes on all of the laundry from Walkill while their facility is being renovated.
Now that's a washing machine...
And that fab view again.
An evening with new friends in the Towers building.
Good night.

  1. IT IS SO EXCITING TO SEE THE BRANCH BUILDINGS IN BROOKLYN. WE LAST VISITED BETHEL IN 2001 RIGHT AFTER "911." EVERYTHING IS CHANGING SO RAPIDLY!

Lloyd & Alex, thank you so much for your blog. It is so wonderful to see all the hard work in action being done in behalf of Jehovah's people. There is nothing on this earth that is equal to being with Jehovah's people worldwide and I'm just excited seeing all the new faces in the various locations that you have encountered. I'm living vicariously through your adventures. Thank you for the view.
