Meet our great friends, CHRIS & GREG from Washington the Capital, well actually from Maryland. We stayed with them the first time we visited the states in 2009. They drove 6 hours to NYC to spend the day with us...
A rather chilly morning. Today we saw our first falling snow in NYC. Well actually just a lite flurry but its windy and COLD!

It's nice and warm in the subway

We actually showed them something in the USA. Jehovah's name in St Paul's. This oldest church in NYC backs onto Ground Zero. It's now a memorial to the rescue workers who sheltered here during the aftermath.
This is the que to get into the National September 11 Memorial at Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan. It is to remember the 3000 people who lost their lives in those infamous 2001 attacks. It's free but you need a ticket and they manage the numbers inside for security.Inside
The site plan. When finished there will be a forest of trees with two square pools in the center, where the Twin Towers once stood.
