Next stop on our tour, the Agra Fort.
Auto Rickshaw or Tuk Tuk contested streets of Agra.
Agra Fort from the Mughal Empire days is said to be the most important fort in India. It was the most beautyful fort we saw. In fact it is really a red sandstone fort with a white marble palace within.
Itse earliest mention is in 1080 AD. The red sandstone fort was built by 4000 labor ours and was completed in 1573.
