3. A GLIMPSE OF DOWN TOWN TOKYO

Saturday Afternoon, February 9, 2013 continued
Now, where were we? Well, we have been busier than a Tokyo train station at peek-hour since we last blogged. So this will be just a few shots of down town Tokyo from last weekend. Having been to more than a few oriental cities we can say that it is like no other with the possible exception of Seoul. Clean, neat and orderly.
Nice back-pack...
Typical glass and concrete.

Parking elevator is common. Cars go up down and sideways.

A little bit of old

A little bit of grunge

And another beautiful little garden... Can't get too much of that
Notice the rope snow diverter to prevent the cultured horizontal branches from snapping under the load
Imperial Palace moat and wall. The more you have, the more you have to protect it

Japan does small best... Probably not built for high speed pursuit though

This is a snazzy parking rotisserie. Park your car in a surgically clean room. Walk away and it slides away to meet the other cars. When you come back it reappears, presto!!!

Face masks are popular, not that the air seems polluted. They are often worn to prevent flu spreading.
But wait, there's more...
